Or, that's what I tell myself to make time pass more quickly. Though (theoretically) I AM infact rather busy...I'm simply choosing not to do most of it.
Frankly, I'm on the almost mighty verge of saying no! to friends in general. I have enough things I don't do when I'm by myself. Toss dome friends in there, and w'oh buddy! I do even fewer of them. Everything takes twice as long when someone else is there to distract me. However, time does also speed by a bit quicker in the presence of others.
Like everything else, I need to learn balance and stability.
PS - hooray for internet in the student center! I've always known it was here, and even kept the thought of "if I need internet, I'll just walk to the Student Center" in the back of my mind. However, thinking it and doing it become two different tasks. For one, my laptop sits happily in my office most of the time. So, doing internet involves a trip to the music building, up three flights, and finding a bag for my laptop ARGH! It's enough work thinking about it. However, this evening I conviniently had internet at Lauren's while I was there, but forgot to take advantage of it. So, after practicing (for a change ;) I took my lappy and headed over MOSTLY because my phone bill is due and I wanted to pay it on line 2 days ago.
Other than that, I'm planning a trip to UT Austin at the end of July. In addition, Mike Goldfine comes back to town for the last time the week before the end of July. So, I have like 20 days before stuff starts happening again. Once August hits, it'll be whizzbang gone, I can feel it. So, I'll enjoy my 20 days of rest before I have to figure myself out again in the presence of 30,000 people. It's easy to lose yourself in a crowd.
