I seriously need to consider changing career paths...permenantly

Yes, I think it is time to leave my "chosen" profession. But I must clarify that I do like my current job; in fact, I've come to really like my job. I'm attributing the past difficulties to growing pains; simply put, I just needed to find my place, which I have done. I like the people I work with, and get along with just about everyone, including management. So why am I considering a career change? It is becoming physically challenging to perform my job. I came to this realization on Friday when my wrist made a loud popping sound as I carried a tray to my table. And that is the issue I'm having right now; I don't want to change corporate policy regarding tray-carrying, (everything must go out on a tray) far from it. I used to be able to carry trays, even when they weighed about 50 pounds, just fine. But I'm also not as young as I used to be...I'm beginning to think that waiting tables for the last decade or so has finally caught up to me. I don't want to think I'm past my prime, but I'm starting to think it's time to put down the tray and find a job that doesn't involve the food-service industry. I don't know...I'll probably wait until after the holidays, as this is the time of year that I make all my money. Until then, I'll just have to be the only guy with a wrist brace on the floor at Olive Garden. So be it...for now...
