I just called up the laptop place and asked if I can have the old HDD from my lappy put into an external. They weren't sure if they had parts, but when they went to check, they did~
On top of that, they quoted me $25 to do it, cos I paid the 77 before for the check and apparently, any repairs that occur get that 77 put to it (its not just to pay for the diagnostics)
