lo all again. just a quick cosplay/related subject update.
the coat for Seifer has had its main body sorta sortedalong with the lining for it, just need to get my head around the metods for attaching the sleeves which shoudlent be to hard.
I have also taken it upon myself to try to one up last years Sephiroth, now the only way i can really think to do this would be to include the gunblade, so that extent i have set abpout brutally hacking... sorry, modding, on of the nerf n-strike scout pistols i acquired at the beginning of the year. I have to say while not absolutely awesome it is now looking quite funky just as a nerf gun (alas it can not be used as such due to a foul up with experimenting on internal mods earlier but it goes bang now :P ). So I just have to attach an appropriate blade to it (naturally trying to remain within amecon regs for weaponry of course) and its done.
on a slightly related note the modage of the scout yesterday put me back in the modding mood so i looked once again to the maverick (for those who don't know it's a nerf 6 shooter revolver! :D ) and through hops, skips, jumps, stumbles and back tracks it is now as heavily modded as it can be without actually having had things put in it, it's had yet another performance upgrade (on top of the barrel spokes and air limiters being removed) the "Russian roulette" mod allowing the chamber to be fully extended (its no fun having a revolver that doesn't have a fully opening reload chamber) and a completely new paint job. Gone is the rather horrible and trademark nerf blue yellow and orange, replaced with black and silver aged look. And after all of this... it even still works! :P
