why does everything always have to go wrong?
i was lying on my bed, revising for my exam tomorrow, waiting till it was time to go get amy at the airport when i get a phone call from her... you know what she tells me? she booked a flight from stansted but forgot and went to luton... and of course she didn't have the time to go to stansted before the check in closed so no flight for her, which means she's not coming for the weekend... *bangs head on wall*
so after panicking and having a nervous fit i called both my parents (what would i do without them?) and they told me she should try to get another flight for tomorrow morning. my dad would pick her up at the airport and drive her to my uni from where we had planned to go to the gig, and my mum would pay for the difference... i fucking well hope it'll work, she really has to come :'(
edit: i love my parents, they'll get an extra nice present for xmas.
after many phone calls my mum and dad said amy should try and get a new flight and they'd pay a part of it, so it's all good now. amy's arriving at 3.35pm tomorrow and from the airport we'll go directly to the station and to strasbourg for the gig. hopefully nothing more will go wrong, no flight being delay, no train screwing up...
