Yesterday was a very good day. The sun was shining and it was quite warm, so rather than stay home and be bored out of my skull as I've been most of the week, I took my car and drove to the zoo, on my own. It was swarming with noisy kids, but it felt good anyway. I can't believe I hadn't gone since August last year! I used to go so often. I migh tjust get the year-card, so I can go whenever I feel like it. It was great watching the animals reacting to this change in weather. I'm looking forward to spring even more now. I can't wait for the first leaves to break through, flowers, and all. The birds have started singing already!
After that, I went into town for some shopping. I just wandered around H&M where I saw a very nice leopard print top. I didn't buy it cos it was quite expensive, and I wanted to have a look in Zara first, but I might go back on Monday to get it. In Zara I found a really nice white blouse which, I realised a bit too late in the evening, shows my boobs a little too much haha. Note to self: wear something underneath!
Virginie, a friend from uni, had invited all of us from uni -- *cough* that's only 5! Haha. We had fun making pizzas with gross topings such as popcorn! XD We played a very amusing game of Cranium, and finished the night with a chocolate fondue! Yummy! I hadn't eaten that much in a while, and felt quite sick by the time I got home haha. I slept for about 3h before I had to get up to go to work. Needless to say I feel like a zombie right now!
PS - I love the song I'm listening to. It sounds so much like spring in the country, it's great. You can't help being in a good mood after hearing it.
