Living for the weekend
It's the weekend! At long last! I'm so glad, even if I've gotta be at the flower shop at 8.30am which means getting up even earlier than I have all month.
Work was surprisingly fun today. Well, actually it's not so much of a surprise. The annoying woman who's always complaining and that no one likes had taken her afternoon off so the others were very relaxed. One of them bought dessert and we spent the afternoon chatting instead of doing much work, and we ended up listening to 80's french music (awful) and doing a sort of blind test. Of course I didn't know half the songs since I was barely born if not at all when those songs were released.
I then shortened the english lesson to 1h only cos I really couldn't be bothered with more tonight. At least he's finally getting the gist of the passive form, which is encouraging.
*2 minutes later*
Lol a woman just rang on the door, she wanted to know if I had cats. I must say that confused me until she explained that she was walking at the top of the hill with her grand children and the girl was beaten by one of the kittens. So it seems they're ringing every doorbells in the street. I wonder what they're gonna do if they find the owner... sue him or something? Lol, weirdos.
I'm off to my mum's exhibition tonight. It's not a proper exhibition, in the way that there are a lot of other sculptors there. It's more like a meetup of artists but it's great to see people's interest in her sculptures. I'm proud of my mummy :p lol.
