TV Guide - Sutonzu no Rensai (SixTONES Style Vol.45)
The 10th theme of the SixTONES series is 'Trip'. On a warm spring day, the 6 of them returned to being kids again as they explored the children nature park.
Hokuto: The last time the 6 of us gathered and played was that BBQ trip, wasn’t it?
Jesse: That might indeed be true. We hardly gather together as 6.
Shintaro: Eh~since the BBQ trip!? That was about 8 years ago...that’s kind of interesting. I suddenly thought, “We have been together for so many years that we can have such memories to look back at.”
Juri: Maybe because the 6 of us gather a lot for such photoshoots and YouTube that we don’t really think of purposely arranging to meet up and play.
Jesse: That’s true. We are always just our normal selves even when the camera is filming.
Yugo: Yeah. Also, we keep on talking even when the camera is no longer filming (LOL).
Shintaro: To put it simply, the 6 of us are just showing our bare self normally! We don’t hide anything at all.
Taiga: Do you think the fans will get tired of watching us just fool around together!? Like... it’s no longer something new...
Juri: I want to believe that it will not be like that (LOL). Right after we debuted, we had a period where the 6 of us did not meet up for work. There was a day that we met up after a long time right? Honestly, that day was so fun for me.
Hokuto: Even though you said ‘a long time’, it was only about a week.
Yugo: We might not have hung out as 6, but there were times where we hung out in pairs right?
Jesse: Shintaro and I lined up in the store and bought our CDs, “Imitation Rain”.
Shintaro: Didn’t Jesse and Hokuto meet up for 3 days in a row a while ago?
Hokuto: On the first day, we had a meeting regarding work, and the talk turned out to be so fun that we ended up staying together till the night. We felt that we had not discussed sufficiently the previous day and had some things left to talk through, so building on the previous day's passionate talk, we went for a meal the next day.
Jesse: And on the following day, I was hanging out with two friends of mine when I ran into Hokuto who was hanging out with his friend too (LOL).
Hokuto: Then, we went our separate ways once, but ended up running into each other for the second time that day (LOL). For some reason, Jesse had parted ways with his friends and was alone, so he joined my friend and me, and the three of us went for a drink together.
Taiga: Such things can happen!? In my case, I just stay home and watch stuff like anime during the holidays.
Juri: I’m also the type that rarely goes out. Among those that hang out in pairs, aren’t Kouchi and Jesse the ones that hang out the most?
Yugo: There was a time we went to Niigata, and there was also a time when we climbed hills in Karuizawa while being scared by the rumours that bears appear in that area (LOL).
Jesse: I was even recording a video, but it didn’t appear at all.
Shintaro: It was really fun for all six of us to appear together in the first round of All Night Nippon right? From now on, it will basically be the combination of Juri with someone, so I hope the listeners enjoy the interactions between the different combinations too. There may be a day when all six of us will appear together, so I hope you will look forward to that too!
Taiga: It sounds fun if we can incorporate the artist side of SixTONES in a segment that involves music.
Juri: That’s right. In the current scenario, where we are not able to meet the fans directly, it would be nice if we can convey what we have been doing to the fans. Along with that, there are many listeners, who are not our fans, that have been listening to that time slot for a long time. So I want to treasure the experience that we are gathering through it.
