Another Sunday... another rec post :-) Enjoy!
Title:
Nothing Rhymes with Texas Author:
deirdre_cPairing: Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: ~5,000
Summary: Jensen is a newly-minted cop and there’s this one particular hooker on his beat.
Notes: AU. Wow. It’s kinda heartbreaking to see how messed up they both are. And yet the story has such an intensity to it that you just have to read it and love it. Here you think you just get a simple pwp story… but bottom line is, you get so many emotional undertones if you read between the lines and look closely at the boy’s actions. Simply perfect.

Somewhere To See Author:
lazy_dazePairing: Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: ~13,600
Summary: Jared is a photographer and Jensen a model
Notes: AU. The to-the-point characterization of this story is just overwhelming. Seriously, the author has a perfect handling of the characters. You totally get absorbed by the story and are not able to put it away until you’re finished with it. The way Jared kind of made it past Jensen’s wall was amazing - and in the end you see that they both needed each other and connected with each other more than you’d have figured in the beginning.
Title:
The Moon Goes Down Quiet Author:
akadougalPairing: Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: ~ 20,125
Summary: Jared's a gun-slinging playboy sorcerer with a mysterious suitcase handcuffed to his arm. Jensen's a cigar-chomping kleptomaniac archaeologist who can talk to animals.
Notes: AU. I really enjoyed the world that was created here. It’s fast-paced, action filled, with touches of humour and lots of sparks between the boys. Also, I really like the way the supernatural elements were worked into the story.
Title:
The Seven Shirts of Jared Padalecki; or, How Jensen (Almost) Met His DoomAuthor:
salixbabylonPairing:Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 7,760
Summary: Jared's lack of fashion sense just might finally drive Jensen crazy one of these days...
Notes: Non-AU. The way the story is told is quite unique and entertaining. I loved the idea. It has a nice, slow build up with lots of funny stuff along the way. And the fact that it is scorching hot is def. a plus as well. :-D
Title:
Whistler!Verse Author:
audrarosePairing: Jared/Jensen
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: ~ 22,800
Summary: In which Jensen can't handle his tequila, Jared wishes he could handle Jensen and Whistler is cold and snowy.
Notes: Non-AU. The link will lead you to the fic masterlist of the author. There, you’ll find all six stories of this verse. And trust me, it’s so worth reading. It just has the perfect balance of sweet and funny, playful and teasing - right up to goddamn-hot and delicious.
