Notes: Non-AU. Oh dear lord! These are the words you are going to say when you read this fic. It is a first-class hurt and comfort story. But be aware, what Jared has to go through is very heavy material. The author captures the whole scenario perfectly, all the mixed emotions, the helplessness, Jensen’s way to put Jared back together. Also, the writer manages to pull the transition from being friends to being more-than-friends off perfectly and very believable. It’s not cheesy at all. It’s absolutely real.

Loved the slow build up between the boys and how Jared slowly but surely became part of Jensen’s life - and Jensen’s family. Also, the characterization of Alex, Jensen’s daughter, was uber-cute.
