A Long while, A New Hope
So, here's what I have to say.
I believe in fairy tales, I believe in happy endings. I believe in Prince (or Princess) Charming, I believe in miracles. I believe in hope, I believe in love. I believe in righteousness, I believe in honesty. I believe in the now, I believe in the future. I believe the past is what got us here, and I believe that our greatest weapon is our own faith. I believe in all these things, and I cannot believe alone. What happened to everyone's hope, what happened to our dreams? When did people lose the ability to believe?
This may be naievity, but why don't people continue to believe in these things? These are the dreams, these are what we so desperately crave in our lives!!! True, uninhibited love...Dreams that reach the stars! Why did people lose touch with these?! I don't understand!
I want a happy ending, I want a dream job, a dream wife (which I may or may not have given up and forfeited like a dumbass), and I want happiness. There are two ways to get those things. It requires both to achieve them. The first: Dreams, belief, and faith. Unwavering faith, you have to believe that they will come, and you have to never stray from that. Dreams and wishes do come true, you just need to believe in them.
The second: You must work, as hard as you can, as high as your faith takes you, towards those dreams. If you want something, you go get it. You can't play the idle role and continue to wish the dreams will come, that only leads to disappointment. You must fight for the dreams, and take them and make them yours! You can wish upon a star, and hold that wish and the dream, but if you just wait for it to come, you won't get anything. Anything you fight for immediately becomes infinitely more valuable, and more rewarding.
So! Don't lose the dreams. Find them, hold onto them. If you want Prince charming, he will come and rescue you, but only if you believe, and only if you work towards it. Faith, dreams, and will power will never let you down.
Hearts, while tender and easily broken, are the source of our greatest strength, and all that we see, and all that we believe, we can use our heart to enhance, and use it to enhance our heart.
