Bow chicken bow wow!
So, life....it's aight. It's got its ups and downs but I'm findin' my groove again. Got my train on its track headed out west.
What have I been up to lately? Stuff. I got back into armoring, and subsequently the SCA. The people are legit here, which is cool. Got on board a game project and pretty much took over management and development. It's nice cause I blow everyone away with my game design skillz....Also, I am heading up a game-night at our B&N and setting that shit up. Buying an xbox 360 and a few games tomorrow using store funds. It's awesome. Gonna have a SF IV tourney soon, possibly also a halo reach tourney with prizes n shit.
Classes are going okay. I got into the next level of my programming course. I keep getting behind with my programs thought for this course..... but my programs are so good that the teacher lets me turn them in late because he's like "oh you obviously know what you're doing so I will let you make this masterful and beautiful program and grade it when you're done cause it's tahhat good." lol, no joke there. Just turned in a quiz 7 days late and got an A on it.
Signed up for classes for next term. Taking Arabic and comp sci for majors part deuce, and also a math class. Stoked about Arabic the most. Languages are FAWESOME!
Gaming world o'mine: no D&D lately. No table-top rpg's either. This makes me sad. No table-toping in general. Even more sadness. I'm grindin' for 100 mounts in WoW. I'm at about 75ish of the 100. Still need to finish up the argent tourney mounts and that will put me on the rim of 90. Then its protodrake and holiday mounts and/ or cataclysm mounts. IDK. Gonna quit afterwords. Maybe sell my account? who knows. If I gear up for raids, I can probably sell the account for 2k and some change. My pally is fuck-win.
Been playing AOC for shits and giggles. You know, that game is pretty legit. I thought it would be vulgar and pornographic...which at times it can be, but it has an overarching theme making apparent the brutality, gore and injustice to human rights we partake in as a species, and caricatures it well enough that you stop and question yourself in game. You tend to end up identifying quite a lot with the bad guys in that game, and then it makes you stop and say"...ew, that's what I subtly come off as?" So for that I give it props, as I expected it to be a bunch of people playing women-toons mostly topless--you don't see that much surprisingly.
Eve. Incursion update has me jonesin' to play. Should I? I've never been addicted to the game--there's no need to. There's no "just one more kill!" Any gains can be made over time with out much effort on the part of the player. I respect that. Games I get addicted to I can dump insane amount of play time into, but Eve. I never go over 20 hours a week which is less than the average human in America watches television on a regular weekly basis.
Anyways, I'm out.
