Emerald

Gin-gin sent me Emerald, a Hiraoki Samura one-shot (in case you don't know Samura writes & draws Blade of the Immortal, one of my favourite stories and artwork-types ever). It's a) drop dead gorgeous and b) so well written it makes me very jealous. I want to be able to think up stories like that! It's not a grand story, but it just all fits so very nicely. The little touches, premonitions and great characters that are introduced with such ease. Arghl.
