Jake and I spent the day at a woman's house who fostered cats. She was amazing. 12 kittens and 10 adult cats roamed freely about the house. All were affectionate and playful. She is a lawyer and does this in her spare time. By spare I mean every minute she has free. After five minutes of cuddling and playing with the different kittens we started talking about adopting two instead of one. The short hair Russian Blue mix was a bit too shy for us, so we focused on her two long haired grey brothers and long haired black sister. By the time we had left we were almost sure we'd take the one gray male and 1 black female. After talking about it tonight we decided that would be best. They were all so sweet and friendly, but the two we chose came up to us immediately and kept coming back.
A short story on the kittens. The woman found out they were on the KILL LIST because they had a cold. Although it's easily treatable, they choose to euthanize them. She rescued them and they are now almost over the cold. I called my vet to make sure it was okay and she said that as long as they are well by the time we pick them up it shouldn't be a problem. Count down til kitty time!
