Just got home from visiting worcester polytechnic institute (WPI), University of New Hampshire, Northeastern, Bucknell, and Lehigh.
Lehigh is actually a great school, aside from having a great engineering program and a great crew team.
Northeasterns crew team is outstanding too. Plus their engineering school is great. I'm worried that it might be too urban for me. There's no real feel of 'campus'. Just...city.
I don't know how i got to looking at UNH, even. Their engineering school is average, their crew team; mediocre.
I didn't get a very good feel for Bucknell. I didn't really like what I saw, though. It was mostly a rural campus with huge, sprawling grass lawns. As funny as it sounds, there's such a thing as too much open space.
Lehigh was great. It's an urban campus but standing on it, you can see none of the city nearby thanks to trees. Beautiful campus. Great crew team. Fantastic engineering.
So the list gets slightly smaller.
