(no subject)
I woke up yesterday and discovered that my lungs had filled with wood glue overnight. This was double-suck because we were taking our moms out for the afternoon.
Well, it was actually just Josh's mom, but we invited my mom, too...
My lovely acquaintances Charles Hughes and Rowan Rose had a special Mother's Day sale out at their place this weekend, along with teas, coffee and goodies by Rowan (her chocolate truffles with chili are amazing.) So that's where we spent a bit of yesterday afternoon. Charles and a colleague from out of town (Jersey? Maybe?) were demonstrating Raku firing. Curse you, dead camera! CURSE YOU.

It was a good time. I'd write more, but I'm feeling out-of-it.
