Remember Abby, the kitty we found wandering around the building back in September, who my parents adopted?
My Dad called me a few minutes ago, to say that she is getting euthanized today. Her kidneys are completely shot (and they were fine when she was taken for a check-up in September.) All the cats in my family's house eat prescription food, so the recent recall isn't a factor. But during the past two weeks she went from eight pounds down to 6 pounds. Her kidneys aren't doing anything and there isn't anything that can be done for her. She's about 3 years old.
