70 degrees and sunny
The weather today was awesome. Even though I don't really get to stop and enjoy it, it was so nice just walking around campus, seeing everyone outside, playing frisbee, just hanging out.
Makes me know the school is almost over. After this semester, I'm pretty much done. My next semester is shaping up to look like this:
Monday work 9-4, Casino and Gaming Management at night, Tuesday and Thursday I have a leadership class with the Coach of the Temple's men's b-ball team, senior seminar, and my resarch class. Then Wednesday and Friday work from 9-5.
I think I'm going to be living in a rowhouse in South Philly from July-December. After that, it's who knows ... which is scary, but I'm kinda proud of myself for doing. 2 months ago I was set on staying in Philadelphia, and now I'm almost positive I'm going to expand my horizons, where to, I have no idea, but starting January 1, I will be somewhere completely different in a new place.
Jenn and me are really good right now. She's really really good, which I think in turn has made us so much better. She got 2 sweet internships, and just got her bartending license.
Phillies is pretty good. I did a program for 6-11 year olds which made me realize that I think I would really like teaching. They really soak up everything you say, and you can have some influence in young lives, which is nice.
Jessie and my plans for our race completely fell through cause there was a massive ice storm which was basically the opposite of the weather 2 weeks ago. It sucks, cause now I'm not going to see her for a while. I'm happy though, because in the past year I've visited GW twice, Maryland, Syracuse, and Bucknell. The only schools missing from that list are Rice and UCF, which I might try to get to in the Fall if my schedule allows me to.
That's about it, life is good, I just need to work on not letting the little things stress me out anymore, cause they always do.
I just need to breathe more often, and I think i'll be fine.
