And so the inevitable happens. A layout change. XP Actually, I didn't really change anything too much from what it used to be, format-wise. It's just... more Rufus-y. ^_^ Well, I'm satisfied.
Moving on. The Yule Ball was super cool. Pretty much everyone dressed up, which was awesome. Then there was Sam who came as Santa, and Theo who was an elf. X3 So we were quite the snazzy group, if I do say so myself. I spent most of the evening in the living dancing and chatting and all that good party stuff. Oh, and oggling one of the three Tylers that were there. The oggle-able one hailed from Tennessee and was brought by Charlene. Yay for Charlene.
So everyone danced, laughed, threw things from the balcony, molested each other and made a fucking mess of my house well into the night. At 10:00, Hannah, Jenny, Tennessee Tyler and I followed Caitlin outside to run around the street in celebration of the arrival of another boy from Tennessee. Crazy.
Things eventually started to wind down as more and more people departed, until we were left with basically our same old group, plus or minus a few. It was at this point when presents were opened. The best part of which was definitely giving Max his books. X3 He's actually reading them too.
And then! oh, then... Max and I used various posters that had been given and received for a lovely little sword fight, in which I royally kicked Max's arse. Several times.
The only thing about the night that was a dissappointment were the mistletoe. The only people that did anything about them were Hannah and Sam, Hannah and Caitlin and Caitlin and Jenny. Like we couldn't see any of them kissing at any time. Apparently, no one obeys the Laws of the Mistletoe these days. So my plan to get two boys kissing failed miserably. Damn. ._.
Anyway, around 2am, my dad came down and kicked all the boys out. :\ So Caitlin, Hannah, Bryanna, Leesa, Maddi, Jen and Jenny stayed over, but we were pretty beat so minimal girl talk ensued before we dragged ourselves to bed.
And there we are. My completely incoherent account of the night. Lovely. ^^
