So I had a post completely done, I just needed a title and my comp shut off, which makes me really angry. Anyway, here it is, re-written. Summer update.
Grease has come and gone. It was an amazing experiance, every second of it. Even when I was sitting in a tiny dance studio, sweating my butt off doing character developement, after sitting for an hour and a half in the car to a six hour rehearsal. It ended up being worth it. The entire cast was wonderful, nice and talented.
Burlesque opened tonight. We had one tech rehearsal mind you. It was...well...Burlesque. The crowd was drunk and loving it. I was naked and slutty. Everthing was where it should be. It is only a two week run, which is fine except that I love seeing Kristen everyday.
Summerfest. Besides five hours in the car each way it was amazing! It was an eight hour concert at which sara evans, pat green, sugarland, brooks and dunn and kenny chesney performed. I was ten rows back from the stage...meaning I could actually make eye contact with the people on stage. It was awesome!
Other than these three events nothing terribly exciting has been going on. Sleep, work, coffee, hanging out and putting off summer reading as long as humanly possible. Anyway, I am off to bed. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! <3
