He tries to beg for her as blood begins to leak from his mouth. He can't feel his fingers, and his vision is fading around the edges. He is quite certain that means he's dying, and he doesn't know if he's okay with that or not. He coughs blood out that splatters the sands. He hears laughter and water splashing as his vision blurs. He sees her and their daughter in the Water Gardens, the light silk of her garbs soaked and heavy. She looks up to him and, after a moment, so does their daughter. She smiles, setting a hand on their daughter's wet curls, and she holds her other out to him. Rhaenys giggles and holds both arms out to him, begging him to join them in the water. "Let's go home now, Arthur." Elia. Home.

When he is brought to Mother by the fat lord, he wants to yell at the people in triumph. He knew she was alive, even though they all lied and said she'd died at the Twins. There were just wrong. They were just liars. He'd told them she was alive, and no one would believe him. And he was right. She cries and hugs him close to her and tells him how much she'd missed him, how much she loves him, and he is so happy that Mother's come back for him. Even Saggy is happy, and Mother laughs when Shaggy licks her face. The silver haired man at her side is strange to him, and when she smiles at the man, he cannot help but to glare at him from Mother's skirts. Mother thanks Osha, kisses her cheeks, and hugs her, though Rickon keeps his hand fisted in her skirts so she doesn't leave again. That night he slips away from Shaggy and Osha and crawls into Mother's bed, ignoring the silver haired man there. He lays between them and fits himself into his Mother's side, keeping the man away from her. He doesn't understand why the silver haired man is in Mother's bed, nor why she doesn't tell the man to leave. She laughs lightly at his actions and pulls him close to her. He notices for the first time that Mother has a fat belly and he frowns at the man. She smooths back his hair and kisses his eyelids. "No, Rickon darling, I'm Sansa." He furrows his brows and lays his head against Mother. He doesn't understand.
