Happy Birthday Dad
Well today would have been my dad's 54th birthday. Keep trying to tell myself that I should be celebrating his life, but it's still hard. Think I'll go out to a restaurant for dinner; better than staying shut up all alone here. Have to do something to mark the occasion

Listen to yourself and celebrate his life...he was a pretty awesome guy! Any man who can have four daughters so close in age (and a set of twins at that) and still come out being sane deserves some kudos. And you were the one who was always there for him when he needed you. Lisa, you are seriously one of the mose selfless people I know. You dropped everything to take care of him or give him his medicine or help him with his dialysis. You made sure that, when we went out to eat, that you brought something home for your dad. And you're 29492905 miles away from me but yet you still manage to be there for me too...not many people would travel 7 hours to deliver something to someone they don't even know, just because it's important to their best friend. Your dad would be so proud of you (and not just because you put up with my shit) but because of the person you are. Hell, I know he is proud of you...and maybe a lot of things are uncertain for you right now, like what you'll be doing when you come back or where you'll end up, but no matter what happens, you'll always have your dad. And the memories! And you'll always have me too. So celebrate your dad...because he would want you to remember the good times you had.
And then take a paddle to those brats' backsides and make mincemeat out of them.
