(no subject)
Well I haven't posted in a week. Not really that much to say. Went back to school on Friday. Jennie came back from Britland then too. Started watching Boston Legal and Desperate Houswives DVDs. Been exploring the neighboorhood. Love going for my walks among the crumbly stone walls and off-roading in the steep hills. Talk about your fun cardio. Still like going to the Tour de l'Horage, the big clock tower on one of the hills. Went to the bakery for bread, where they love me and slice my bread with a smile. Got the multi-grain one today. Don't want to think of a future without French bread-it is heavenly.
Dentist landlord keeps clobbering around; I can hear heavy footsteps at all times of day and night. It's kind of annoying after they weren't here for a week around Christmas. Went to Valerie's for lunch on Friday with 2 other teachers from Jean-Mace. Damn, that was good. Daniel gave me a poster with Saddam holding an empty wine bottle and saying "Marie ou pendu" (remember, the end-of-the-bottle tradition over here, marry or hang?). I thought that was hilarious because I alays liked the marie ou pendu thing, and here, how fitting.
Made lasagne for dinner last night, but I think it's too cheesy. And my top layer is always too crunchy. Alas.
This weird weather is making me sleepy. All day, it's been switching from cloudy, to sprinkly, to sunny and then starts over again. It's annoying. And making me sleepy. Maybe a bit grumpy. But I'm a fun grump. I'm always fun. Woo.
