(no subject)
I really hate the help desk. They say one thing and do another. On Tuesday I was told to bring my computer in on Thursday afternoon and I could get new henges in around 30 minutes or so while I waited. I took it in today and was told it would take 2 hours and I would be called when I could pick it up. Since I had some reading to do and wanting to go and eat dinner I thought it would be ok and I left it. Needless to say, it took more than 2 hours. At 6:30 I called to check and see if it was done, but I was told my computer was still in pieces and they did not know what was wrong with it.The only thing wrong with it was the henges, which were very obvious were broke. I can't figure why they did not know what was wrong or had my whole computer apart, but they some how managed to do it. At this point they did not even know whether or not my computer would be ready till tomorrow. As you might guess I have spent the evening throughly pissed off, so when they called at 7:56 and said it was done, but I could not pick it up till the morning I went off. After my little chat with the help desk guy he agreed that I could come over and get my computer tonight. At least I can now say I have my computer back, but I am still so worked up and pissed off I can't think or concentrate long enough to write my papers.
