Catching up
I feel like I haven't posted in about forever.
I have been very busy with work and some stress relating to the job. I just got news that there will be news about the job soon, so I'm not sure what's going on. I try to remember that every day I am still employed is a good day, and in the meantime, keep sending out those resumes!
Also busy with Capricon, which just happened and went off fabulously. Somewhere in between, I managed to get food posioning, which made me very sad and yicky. I now have a sore throat, itchy eyes, and have taken two naps today. It just doesn't seem fair to be stricken ill twice in two weeks. I've also been taking an Intro to Botany class and a Conservation Biology class at the Morton Arboretum, and keeping up with the homework plus driving all the way to Lisle each week takes a ton of time and leaves me exhausted. Both classes finish this month, but then I start a Certified Interpretive Guide class. As if that were not enough, I am still teaching a Bible class to a group of mothers and teenage daughters. That is the most fun, though, as well as the biggest ego boost-I use my brain for stuff I love, plus the students love me and each time one of our classes has run its course, the students ask the administration to hire me back for another round! Yayy me!
I'm hoping that March will be less busy. Maybe I can even post every now and then...
