Isabel rummaged through the kitchen and came up with something that sort of resembled dinner, then she grabbed the remote and turned the TV to Iron Chef America. Bobby Flay, wild boar, and grilled watermelon? It looked interesting.

"Is that the one where the power tools come out?" Marco asked as he came into the room.

[izzyalienqueen]

"No power tools," she said, shaking her head. "Just wooden skewers and very sharp knives."

[morpherboy]

"Aw. It's not really a food competition until the saws and drills get put into play. What poor animal are they killing today?" Marco paused. "Did I just say that?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"You did," Isabel told him. "And today they're showing us to serve wild boar. With grilled watermelon. I just don't get that part."

[morpherboy]

"Watermelon doesn't belong on the grill. Boar does. But where do you get boar in a day to day experience?" The fact that Marco was seriously considering this was a little scary to him.

[izzyalienqueen]

"I don't think you do," she replied. "At least not in the restaurants I've been in. Maybe I need to eat in more upscale places." Which might be a bit difficult in Fandom.

"If you're going for boar you probably want 'unusual', not upscale. Unless it's 'in' to like wild meat this season."

[izzyalienqueen]

"I don't know. I haven't checked out People for all the latest trends. It could be for all we know," Isabel shrugged. "But I think I'll stick with pizza."

"Pepperoni pizza is always in." Marco agreed.

[izzyalienqueen]

"I'm partial to plain myself," she said. "But that's just me. So what's up in Marco world?"

[morpherboy]

"Summer's ending, got to fly through space again, and my best friend has not gone absolutely insane." Marco rattled off. "You?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"Summer's ending, I'm still here, and I got whammied by that insane bitch that's currently calling herself principal," Isabel shrugged. "Nothing to exciting. Who's not insane?"

[morpherboy]

"There was a chance you wouldn't be? I think I peeved her off a bit." Marco said proudly. "Best friend at home. And insanity is relative."

[izzyalienqueen]

"I had to go home for a bit, family stuff. I wasn't sure I was going to come back," she explained. "But here I am. And Umbridge is insane. If she calls you to her office? Don't go."
