Room 406, evening

Despite having fun at Alec's party last night, Isabel wasn't in the greatest of moods as she wandered about her room straightening up. Her package hadn't been delivered and she'd had to say goodbye to both Alanna and GregGrumbling as she put the last of her clean laundry away, Isabel flopped down on the bed and reached for a book

Peter knocked on her doorframe. "Hey."

"Hey yourself," Isabel smiled putting aside her book. "What's up?"

[repeterpetrelli]

"No classes," Peter said. "I could not be happier."

[izzyalienqueen]

"Yeah, this is a pretty good week," she nodded. "Just get ready for the insanity on Friday when the newbies get here. It's chaos."

Isabel sat up and crossed her legs, "Come in, sit, hang out for a bit."

Peter took a seat. "Not long ago that was me. I feel all experienced now. I could give the wisdom of my months."

[izzyalienqueen]

"They're going to need your wisdom. Can you imagine arriving to find out the school's been blown up. By aliens!" Isabel grinned, "And I should add that they were not my relatives."

"Are you sure?" Peter asked. "Because the family resemblance was pretty strong. Especially around the eyes."

[izzyalienqueen]

Outraged, Isabel tried to think of a reply. Words failed, hopefully the incoming pillow from the the other bed wouldn't.

Peter laughed and caught the pillow. He propped it behind his back for comfort. "So it looks like I'm going to be able to stay."

[izzyalienqueen]

"Oh really? That's great," she smiled. "How'd you manage to convince them? And somehow I don't think it involved aliens attacking."

[repeterpetrelli]

"I went with the line that I was taking extra classes," Peter said. "College prep. Ma thinks I should relax but Nathan thought it'd be good for me."

[izzyalienqueen]

"Just don't let on that the classes are called Glitter or Treasure Hunting. Somehow they don't sound like classes that'll get you into Harvard," Isabel pointed out. "I'm not even certain what I'm taking. I picked from a hat."

"Maybe we'll luck out and have a class together," Peter said.

[izzyalienqueen]

Isabel ducked her head and smiled. "That could be fun. If you thought classes were insane, you haven't seen anything till you've seen a workshop."

"Same kind of insane but outdoors?" Peter guessed.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Yes and no. Last year Cal taught a class about survival. She made everyone strip down to their underwear at the start of class," she explained. "Then there was sex ed. Taught by the hooker from the brothel."
