A week that had included library duty, a night out at Caritas, movies with a friend, exams, and plotting a rescue mission meant that Isabel was pretty damn tired when she went to bed on Friday night. Peter peered into the doorway. "Okay, you're still as tall as I remember."

"I am yes," she laughed. "And I'm glad to see Anders and I aren't the only ones. Have you been attacked by weetiny sugar hyped people yet?"

[repeterpetrelli]

"I've managed to duck it so far," Peter said. "I've seen them, but they haven't taken me to their weetiny sugar hyped overlords yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed."

[izzyalienqueen]

"You're welcome to hide here for a while. Ching Tai should be delivering shortly and there'll be more then enough," Isabel offered.

[repeterpetrelli]

"Thanks," Peter said, coming on in. "You read my mind. I'm in the mood for an egg roll. Though if this is a Ching Tai meal does that mean I need to stand you up?"

"Heard about that have you?" she laughed. "Take-out doesn't count. Besides, if you make a move towards the door, I'll toss you against the wall and keep you there till the food comes."

"I better take a seat then," Peter said, doing just that. "I don't think I could outwit the kids with a concussion."

"No, probably not. They're devious," Isabel grinned. "How did finals go? And what did you think of Fandom's version of finals? Where any of yours literally life or death?"

"I think I did good with Superheroing and Conflict Management," Peter said. "Got my fingers crossed for Anatomy. You?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"I did okay when I had to fight the witch for Villians. And we did handwaveily manage to escape from the smelly guys in Gods and You," she said. "Believe it or not, I'm most worried about the only tradional exam I had, the one for Survival Tactics."

"Multiple choice throw you for a loop?" Peter guessed.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Actually it was an essay on the outcome of a Manchester United game," Isabel explained. "In 2009."

[repeterpetrelli]

"For Survival?" Peter asked. "I didn't know soccer was that crucial. Basketball maybe..."

[izzyalienqueen]

"You and the Doctor can argue that out. The biggest thing I got out of that class? Wear comfortable shoes," she said seriously. "So you can run for your life."

[repeterpetrelli]

"Sometimes that's the best strategy," Peter said. "Live to fight another day. Or let somebody else do the fighting."

"Been there, done that, passed on the t-shirt," Isabel smiled wryly. "A persistant sheriff, the FBI, other aliens. Take your pick."
