A week that had included library duty, a night out at Caritas, movies with a friend, exams, and plotting a rescue mission meant that Isabel was pretty damn tired when she went to bed on Friday night. Isabel blinked, because the image of Jack as a weetiny kidlet just didn't compute. "Jack? Really? Where they good waffles?"

"Yeah!" He nodded and jumped up and down a few times. "Lots of chocolate! I asked for lots of chocolate!"

"That doesn't surprise me a bit," she laughed. Then Isabel made a decision she might possibly regret. She broke out her chocolate stash. "I've got some more if you'd like some."
