A week that had included library duty, a night out at Caritas, movies with a friend, exams, and plotting a rescue mission meant that Isabel was pretty damn tired when she went to bed on Friday night. "Ummm," Isabel stammered, because somehow she doubted anything written by Angelica Desmesnes was good for kids. "It's a history book. It's very boring."

Actually Barjossakin was very good, but not in a way Isabel was going to share with a wee Alanna. "They are. Very bad. They need to be captured and sent to jail."
