Room 406, Lunchtime

Packing really shouldn't be that hard when she'd only going to be gone for two nights. But for some reason Isabel has packed and repacked three different times

"Hellooooo?" Greg called, sticking his head through the door.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Oh, hi," Isabel said, looking up from lacing up her boots. "I was just going to call you."

[like_a_sponge]

"Going somewhere?" he asked, leaning in the doorframe.

[izzyalienqueen]

"Yeah," she said slowly. "There's a problem."

Greg immediately looked worried. "What?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"Aeryn's been kidnapped," Isabel said. "John's going after her. He asked me to come with him."

[like_a_sponge]

Greg blinked slowly. "She...what?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"Aeryn was sent here by the military. Last Spring she went back for a few weeks but then escaped and came back here," she explained. "Apparently they've decided they want her back. Whether she wants to go or not." She left out the part about the kidnapper being Aeryn's mother, realizing Aeryn probably wouldn't want that broadcast around.

Greg stared. "And you're going after her?"

[izzyalienqueen]

"Not just me. Girl Sam, Luke, and Peter." Isabel held out her hand to him. "I need to do this. She would do the same for me."

Greg sighed, took her hand, and went to wrap his other arm around her. "You'll be careful."

[izzyalienqueen]

"I will be more then careful," she promised, wrapping her arms around him. "And Sam, Luke, and Peter? They have tons of experience with stuff like this."

"You promise?" he asked her hair.

[izzyalienqueen]

"I promise," Isabel said seriously. "We still have to go camping."

Greg laughed shakily. "Yeah, there's a motivation to come back in one piece."

[izzyalienqueen]

"You're a bigger motivation," she said, reaching up to touch his cheek.
