Perfect timing Parker, the show was over and Isabel needed the distraction.

"You better be calling me from the beach," Isabel said as soon as the call connected. "I don't care if it's the middle of the night."

Parker laughed, strappy sandals and a drink in one hand, phone in the other.

"I'm at a bonfire party," she admitted. A steel drum band could be heard very vaguely in the background as she walked down the beach. "Does that count?"

He hated getting shanghaied into these things. "I decided Science didn't require me to witness the inevitable injuries. So I'm taking in the music and the local scenery." She grinned wickedly. "Some of it is gorgeous."
