One of the benefits of the Parkers thinking of Isabel as family was that they didn't mind when she collapsed into a booth after a long morning of Christmas shopping, ordered a hot chocolate and then didn't move for a few hours while she waited for the guys to get back from their own frantic last minute shopping trip

Wyatt wandered in not long after. "Hey, gorgeous, how was your shopping excursion?" he asked, moving in to claim a kiss.

She was still disturbed by the vision of what might have been, so needless to say the kiss that Isabel gave Wyatt was a bit enthusiastic. To the point where Michael whistled and Kyle said something about getting a room.

"Well, hello there," Wyatt said, grinning. "I missed you, too."

"I thought I'd lost you to the crazed hordes of late Christmas shoppers," Isabel said a bit sheepishly. "Sorry."

"Did you get everything you were looking for?"

It should be noted, she didn't let go of him.

"I think so, yeah," Wyatt said. But he'd noticed how clingy Isabel was, so he dropped his voice and asked, "You okay?"

It was only a dream Isabel reminded herself. Just a particularly realistic and depressing one.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she nodded, finally letting go and sitting back down in the booth. "I just had a weird and very vivid flash of deja vu or something. Except it didn't happen before. But it could have. And that wouldn't have been good."

Wyatt dropped down beside her, sliding his arm around her shoulders. "No being sad at Christmas," he said. "Besides, you have a Man vs. Wild marathon on Wednesday to look forward to."

"Naked Bear makes everything better," Isabel grinned. "How could I possibly be sad when I've got Bear and you?"

Wyatt leaned in to whisper, "What about naked me?"

"Can I unwrap you just like a present?" Isabel whispered back.
