STUPID TRIP PLANNERS.
I'm in a dilemma. Actually its just something I'm really, really, REALLY irritated about.
Every summer I go on the same vacation with Loretta and her family. To Birch Bay. It's usually a four day trip. EVERY YEAR it manages to conflict with something else I want to do. Last year it was Scotland rehearsal, a Bathhouse show I REALLY wanted to do the year before that, three years ago we left the day Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince came out.
This year we leave the day BEFORE Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out.
TEJKDJKSIEU. I don't want to be in freakin CANADA the day the last HARRY POTTER BOOK COMES OUT. Not even Canada. I want to go on the trip, but its four days after I get back from Japan, I have to miss a day of work, and its HARRY'S FINAL JUDGEMENT DAY. I know this sounds really stupid and superficial, but I really wanted to treasure this, but now I don't even know WHEN I'M GETTING the stupid thing. And I know its not Jane's fault for planning the trip over this weekend, since the 21st is her birthday, but I still really, REALLY want to blame her for this.
When I told Loretta she laughed it off, as usual. Sometimes her insensitivity to me, especially considering the things SHE holds dear, really bugs me. BAH.
