Well I can quit looking for Julian, cause he's sorta of the dead persuasion these days. Eva came over and told that he just showed up in her living room and there was a fight ending in Cristoff killing him. Well good, the bastard needed to die, its just too bad the fucker didn't suffer a little more. Fucking up your kids beyond any recognition ( Read more... )

They get aderline from climbing a mountain? That seems...strange and lame. Why would they want to climb a mountain? Is there something on the top?

*frowns* We don't have to climb them do we?

*nods* Well he should be okay. He did what needed to be done. Julian was no better than any of the demons that we fight.

It is extemely lame. No theres nothing at the top, 'cept bragging rights. I mean yeah its dangerous, you can die from the cold, or you lungs fill up with water and you choke to death, or you know mountains, kinda high off the ground, you could fall or something. But really its just climbing a mountain.

*smiles*

No, we dont have to climb them. From the info Travis gave us, this guy doesn't seem like the roughing it type. Thats why he's been a little easy to track once we knew who we were looking for.

*snorts*

I don't know, I think he was worse. Screwing up his kids like he did, trying to play god with their lives. Your average demon just wants to usually eat you, its not overly evil. But yeah I'm sure Cristoff will be fine.

*nods* As long as we don't have to climb many mountains thats good. Climbing those things just sounds very foolish.

Why would you want to "rough it up"?

True, he was a lot eviler than a lot of demons. It just amazes me that someone could be that twisted and evil.

Theres a lot of reasons for roughing it. Don't want someone to find you, it way easier to pitch a tent outside a city or town. Or if you don't have money to pay for a room. Or you could be one of the crazy people who likes being one with nature and thinks its fun to go without luxuroes like running water and electricity.

*thoughtfully*

I think what amazes me is that Eva and them aren't more screwed up as a result than they are. I mean yeah they got issues, but they could be ten time worse and it'd be normal considering all that bastards done to the lot of them.

*frowns* If you don't have to be, why would you choose to be without electricity or running water? I mean I understand doing it because you have to, but why if you don't have to do it?

*tilts head* What you mean screwed up? Issues?

Well I can do without that stuff if I need to, and I did my whole life until I came here. But I just don't get why you would want to.

So are you saying that because of him, all their decisions are effected?

And you are not screwed up.

Well for like say the Rom or like here in the states theres the Amish. And they think preserving their old ways is like this good thing. Or you have hippies who think we are destroying the earth to have stuff like electricity. Which all of them may have a point, but I tend to be with you on this one. Why go without if you don't have to ( ... )

*raises an eyebrow confused* Issues is how your parents bring you up and how it affects your decisions? What if you aren't thinking of your parents when you make a decision?

Well issues don't have to just be about your parents, but since they have a lot to do with how most people spend the first 18 years of their lives give or take, they play a factor. I mean other things can happen to give people issues. Someone you love dying, or betraying you. Or going through an extremely traumatic event. Everyones got their fears and phobias, some are rational some aren't so much. In my opinion we're all fucked up a little bit in some way.

*smiles ruefully*

See thats the funny thing about the subconscience. Half the time its got issues the rest of our brain doesn't even know about.

How can it have issues that the brain does not even know about?

And is it only your first 18 years that affect you? What about the rest of the years?

I don't really know how, but I sure no it does. Some people spend lots of time and lots of money for shrinks to figure out why it is they're a mess. Or they go looking for someone like me to tell them.

No, anything can affect you, sweetie. Regrets of things you did, things you didn't do, People or situations that have hurt you, or maybe you have hurt. At any point of your life and for any reason, you can have issues. I'm the poster child for issues, where as like India? She doesn't have that many.

*looks at him thoughtfully*

Isn't there something that keeps you up at night worrying? Or an event from that past, something that had such an affect that when it comes time to make a decision it's why you do or don't do something?

Whats a poster child?

*thinks* I guess I have some stuff that does that. I mean I really really don't like small spaces and try to avoid them all the time. And I have nightmares sometime *shrugs* But I didn't really think anything of it.

Its a figure of speech. Like they used to have these causes like um...starving children in Africa, so they would find the child that looked the most sad and hungry and plaster their picture up on posters sorta like the definition of the cause.

Here we are very "aware" of our issues. Some people wear them like badges of honor. Saying you're seing a shrink is like say I'm going to grab a burger.

*looks at him sympathetically*

I knew you had bad dreams, but I didn't know you were claustophobic. You know right? That if you ever wanted to talk about that or your dreams or well anything you could always talk to me. I can be a good listener, really.
