So, on the third Emmett and I found a classified in the Daily Prophet (it was wayyyy in the back) saying that for a pretty nice price, we could take a portkey to the States with about ten other people to see the fireworks on their independence day ( Read more... )

We watched them on some lake? I wasn't really paying attention to the location.

All I know was that it was hot, I was on some muggle thing called a boat (it was TERRIFYING!), and I saw fireworks :)

And I got to play with a sparkly thing. It was awesome.

I love those things!!!

Emmett doesn't like the idea, though- he says that I get too cocky with them and almost burn people.

I didn't like them. It was a big hunk of metal moving at speeds it shouldn't be.

That doesn't matter unless you're controlling the boat.

If you don't fall overboard, it doesn't matter how hard swimming is.
