Ugh. Dr. Essex just spent twenty minutes telling me the WORST STORY EVER about these kids in London that used to clean chimneys and how they would DIE. This was over DINNER. God. Next time I want to know about Victorian London--I am NOT asking about kids, manual labor, or prostitutes. That was this morning's conversation. I know more about syphilis than I EVER WANTED TO KNOW, God.
