For the last three days I've been haunted by the music they used to play between school's programmes on channel four in the mornings, some ten, twelve or more years ago. With the spinning 'ITV' sign and the four ITV logos spinning round on a turntable. Now, that takes me back. Kids don't get little filling-in clocks and music any more, it just goes straight from one show into another.
My favourite school's programme: Dark Towers.
The one I detested? Badger Girl. Anyone who was allowed to sit through it fewer than four times was very, very lucky indeed.
