Weird past few days at work...

Having to train someone again, unfortunately this guy is a bit of an asshat. Ugh.

ALL's he does is COMPLAIN ENDLESSLY! I can't stand it! I wanna throttle him but good. *nodnod* Just keeps complaining that he "doesn't make enough money here, doesn't like the work, its too hard, its too heavy, he wants to go smoke now, why can't he do what he wants when he wants (i.e. take breaks, smoke, bathroom whenever he wants), I don't want to do it that way (which is why they have me training him so he knows the proper way to do things. ARRGH!), I don't want to work Saturday's." So on...

And worse keeps telling me to shut up in some commanding tone that makes me wanna smack the taste out of his mouth. He sure as hell ain't my boss and I'd never work under him if he was.

Apparently he was a manager at a restaurant (Spagetti Warehouse) so he's got a big head about it (enough of it is shoved so far up his...posterior...that all's he can see is brown.). YOU signed up for the job punk, DEAL WITH IT. He already makes 11$+ an hour, while the rest of us peon's only get 7.25$. FEH!

And then earlier today one of the guys who was getting written up was trying to shift all the blame onto other people. Like me. Apparently I'm a "Slow bad worker, and never do anything when someone isn't watching." *rolls eyes* Yeah yeah, that's why I get the entirety of housewares BY MYSELF with it being 5 flats plus 4 pulls and can get it done alone because I'm a terrible worker. Stuff like that just pisses me off to no end. I sure hope they do another round of firing soon. Seperate the wheat from the chaff and all. Problem is, I know they won't...most people aren't jumping to get a nice 3:30am job...so we lose too many and we won't be able to recover, and we know were gonna lose a few people when school starts back up. *sigh*

On the plus side at least the store manager suddenly knows and calls me by first name, asking how I'm doing and what I like on the job, what could be improved, etc. Which is strange since he almost never remembers anyone's name. Interesting. Maybe that's a good sign. Espically since I know the housewares manager is wanting to quit and get a new job so that'll be open...

Oh well, time to sleep. At least today was a normal day, unlike the 13 hour one on Wednesday. Yuck. 13 hours of physical labor does tend to wear one out. (EVERYONE else skipped out at 9:45am for some BS reason or another.)
