Long overdue update
So much has happened since I last updated, it’s hard to know where to begin. I guess I can start with the most important. I got married to a wonderful woman named Sara. We are having our first child next month. I just finished my bachelor’s degree, and I will be starting graduate school next month as well. My father survived cancer again. My wife and I moved in with her mother in Decatur. I finished writing my first novel, which is now in the process of editing. I have begun putting my first poetry collection together for publishing. All in all it feels like my life has really come together. I must admit that it’s a little scary to realize that your childhood is over, and now you have to be responsible for another person’s childhood. Don’t get me wrong, Sara and I are both very excited about our new lives together, but all new beginnings can be a little scary.
