good night, sleep tight

In two weeks I will be finished with my undergraduate degree, but there is still a large quantity of work to get through between now and then. A project kept me up until four o'clock in the morning yesterday, but when I finally climbed under the sheets to fall asleep it was the greatest feeling ever. All of my bedsheets were put into quarantine after my diagnosis last week, which meant using a rolled-up towel for a pillow and a single thin blanket for cover. After doing several loads of laundry over the weekend (and spending $12 in quarters in the process) everything should be back to normal now.

During a talk with one of the anthropology graduate students during lunch the other day we determined that, were I to skip all my assignments between now and Cinco de Mayo, it would still be possible for me to pass all my classes with a B- or C+. The only exception is CES 499. Failure to turn in a research paper for that class would result in an automatic failure that would keep me from graduating. Don't expect me to slack off in the mean time though - there's a reason my grades are so high and it has nothing to do with bribing professors. However, I did learn that the teaching assistant for my evolutionary anthropology class has a weakness for Thierry Henry. But then, who doesn't?

I have yet to do my Chinese homework, but that can wait for the morning ...
