Poor baby
so i came home last night and my cat was really sick. i mean like laying on the ground with blood coming out of his little male parts type of sick. i know that he has a urinary tract infection, because he's already had one and is prone to them....its just he didn't give off any symptoms this time, just bam...sick. so i spent many long hour researching alternate cures/treatment to help him, since there is no way i can get him to the vet and he didn't have any antibiotics left. so i found out that you can give them cranberry (juice, pill, etc) and it works the same for them as it does with people as well as viteman E or something (fixing to re-look that one up) to help with the inflamation. i know, from mama that you can give them tiny bits of very mild pain killer (like midol) and it will help ease they're pain.
So. last night i gave him the pills, and pain med. and manually expelled his blatter. which had to be excruciating for him and he seems better.
Last night: He lays on the ground, doesn't look at anything (kinda in a daze) would show any signs of "life"
Today: after spending a good amount of work last night he walks (slow...very slow) and looks around and has a tiny bit more life in him.
It makes me so sad that he's in this much pain, escpecially since he didn't show that there was anything wrong until it got this bad. so i'm gonna keep up the treatement, give him lots of love, and keep him with pain med. and hope for the best. thank goodness i have tomorrow off, so i can spend the whole day trying to help him. -_-
