Today was interesting. We spent like 3 hours in the Badlands, and they were very pretty, but it was also very hot. I think I complained too much. Then we went to the, uh, the Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota, 'cause there were signs all over the highway. It was a moving experience. I bought a shitty USA Today there. We did stop in this bizarre little broken down town for gas at one point, and they had all these really interesting things for sale. I bought an old curb bit for 5 bucks 'cause it was pretty. We ate at T.G.I. Friday's (yuck), and we're staying at a Country Inn that has peanut butter cookies at the front desk and an internet connection to mooch off of. Woohoo.
I feel weird 'cause my whole family is like totally into this and I'm kind of bored and not too into the whole road trip/chain restaurant/hotel pool thing. Oh well.
