I... am going to Japan! I applied to the JET Programme in 2011. It is the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme, where citizens from English-speaking countries (and some non-English speaking countries like Germany) go to Japan to help teach English to Elementary School, Junior and Senior High school students as an Assistant Language Teacher. I interviewed in February, and was accepted in April. Not sure which part of Japan I am going to yet, though. Canadians JETs are supposed to find out some time this week or next week. So excited!! Now I'm just brushing up on my Japanese, French and English, as well as making a list of stuff to bring.
