Spring Schedule: Short List

Jan 05, 2006 14:35

Since I registered so damn late, everything I needed for my dual major of English and Sports Management was closed.

I didn't want to do the hassle of waitlists and I have a backlog of 300/400 level courses that need filling up if I want to get closer to graduating.

So I now have the following schedule:

BIO 103 Intro to Biology (The lone Sports Management pre-req I could get into)
ENG 417 Advanced Poetry Writing (I'm not very good at writing poetry, but hey it's a creative writing class and it was open)
ENG 469 Postcolonial Anglophone Literature (English lovers in former British colonies; I like literature that's off the beaten track)
HIS 300 History of Modern Japan (I tend to do well in history courses and I had a history of China course, so may as well take on Japan too)
PHIL 476 Advanced Philosophy of Religion (The course description said it focuses on scholarly texts and Medieval writings. Since I just came from Medieval Lit, I figured this was a good tack-on course. It's the one most likely to get dropped, too)

This puts me at 16 credits for the semester. Should I drop Advanced Philosophy of Religion? That'll still put me at full-time (13 credits) and I dont know that it would count towards anything beyond the 300/400 level requirement, one that'll get filled anyway with all the other requirements for my double major.
