My computer is such a load of crap I just wanna kill it. Lately it's been switching itself off for no reason, and it doesn't just happen "every now and then", it's happening EVERY OTHER MINUTE. I've only had this PC for 2 years (since January 2004) but I guess it's time for it to retire eh? Then today was the last straw. It just switched off and when I turned it back on, it switched itself back off again just as Windows was about to load. Numerous times. I don't even know if it's a hardware or software problem, or something to do with power surges, overheating, over usage, etc. Is it bad to leave your PC on overnight for a long period of time? I've heard "expert" opinions that it's harmless, but now I'm not so sure... And I'm not taking chances!! I'm gonna back up all my programs, anime, music and other important data onto DVD (thank god I still have a good supply of those blank discs), before some scary shit happens again. So... yeah. If I disappear permanently from MSN or forums without a word of warning, you know my machine has died for good. I'm leaving my legacy. ;_;
It could happen anytime, or it might not happen at all. Fingers crossed it's gonna be the latter. ;___;
