Oscars
In the early morning, I did what anyone who didn't have school/work/college/uni the next day might've done: I stayed up to watch the Oscars. I tuned in a quarter hour too late to find I've missed the Best Supporting Actor award; not that it matters because Jake Gyllenhaal didn't get it and I didn't exactly miss seeing his lovely face. ^_^; No offence to George Clooney... I don't really know him that well but I do think he's kept himself looking quite good for someone his age! Loads of ramblings and ads inbetween as expected! I kept wondering what the audience and presenter did while we were on commercial break XD The highlight of the show wasn't seeing Brokeback Mountain scooping the Best Picture award - because it didn't... ;_; But it did get an Oscar for Best Director, one for Adapted Screenplay, and another for Sound Editing or something. It's a shame to know my fave film (Brokeback Mountain) only got 3 out of the 8 awards it was nominated for, but it's still a cool movie with or without those awards, and Ang Lee should at least get a pat on the back for a job well done!
