Mermaid corset
22” Underbust hip-gore corset made from sage silk dupioni with sea green taffeta piping made for a friends Mermaid Halloween costume. Coutil strength layer, boned with 1/2” spiral and flat steels for support. Corset has pewter grommets and custom dyed laces to match the piping. Hopefully In early November I will have some photos of her full mermaid costume. She has showed me the beaded bra (belly dancer style) and false eyelashes she intends to wear and the ensemble is going to be super cute! Sadly she had to go to plan b on the pleated skirt, I guess she had a mishap with her industrial iron and the skirt didn't make it by this weekend. She hopes to salvage it after Halloween.
