Heh...
So I officially finished school three weeks ago, and spent about 1/2 of that in a post debut/runway show coma. Over The next few days I hope to post all of the projects I have worked on, and finally get cracking on reading the back-log of my friends page (Seriously, I havn't looked at that thing in two months...it's going to take awhile!)
So consider this post the "kitchen sink" post of all the smaller projects I did this past quarter.
In my crafts class we dyed and blocked a wool hat. I choose to make mine green (from beige originally) and choose a 40's not-quite-a-berge style. Some sizing and trimming later it is now mostly done. I still have to add some decoration, but am not 100% sure what I want to do. I am thinking of layering some small green feathers? One of my class mates suggested I find a small golfer figurine and go full novelty :)
So for the costumes I made for the runway show (More on them later) me and my classmates got a HUGE Sponsorship from Swarovski Crystal Elements. I ended up with quite a few black ones left over so I used them to decorate the shoes I wore when I walked the runway.
In my crafts class we also made pregnancy bellies. Basically we layered different types of foam/batting over a tank top and then covered the whole thing in spandex. I was feeling whimsical while I made mine so I sewed that little green bird into the belly.

Also, I decided to buy some decals for my computer (I combined two different ones. I think this fairly encapsulates my sense of humor.
