Awwww...that sounds like so much fun. Thanks for sharing the pics, too!
Argh, I really need to make it out to costume college some year. Well...maybe next. ;) (Although why must it be so close to SDCC. Are they trying to kill me?)
I was talking with one of the coordinators, and I guess they don't get much cross-over. The one person I know who went to both was happy they were the same tie because she was coming from SF.
Did you experience costume overload? I saw your post you were working on pieces for yourself and others.
Really? That's kind of sad, actually. :( Oh well, it may explain why there's only a small amount of well tailored stuff at SDCC. (A personal pet peeve. Gah! Costumes should *fit*.)
I did experience costume overload. I never want to make four costumes in a six month period again. Gah! Although as a positive, leatherwork is pretty easy, so...eh...
Thanks! It was really fun. I thought about wearing the corded petticoat but decided against it because the restaurant had booths.
I'm sad more people havn't posted Sunday Undies photos. I know "eating pictures" tend not to be very flattering, but their were some really nice undies!
I didn't make it to the blog meetups so I didn't get a chance to connect faces to names, but I know I saw you there. I'll be posting my photos in a couple days. I'm just dead tired right now.
Sorry I missed you Monday, It would have been nice to wonder the garment district and chat. I totally flaked and forgot to text you Sunday, I guess I assumed I would run into you at breakfast? =Fail.
Just have to do it some other time, I guess. Yeah, breakfast was weird - it used to be a complementary continental breakfast at the AirTel, which made it a big centralized social event. Not so at this place, and it's kinda sad.
